Sunday has worked for the California State Senate, beginning in 1999. She planned international legislative trips and acted as official liaison between the Senate and international dignitaries. She has contributed extensively to the legislative process through her professional services as a Legislative Aid in which she developed legislation to improve access to health and mental health services. Sunday is a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She received her B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University.
Elisabeth is the founder of euronique+communications and BPI Global Talk. She has 14+ years of global experience in the corporate, media and publishing industries in Belgrade, Athens, Rome and NYC. Elisabeth has worked with Conde Nast, New Europe Newspaper, Associated Press Television News, the Los Angeles Times, Dow Jones Newswires, Giorgio Armani Corporation and Aeffe USA. Elisabeth holds an MA in International Relations & Diplomacy from Schiller International University Paris and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
Brigid graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Public Relations and a minor in Speech Communications. She has over 25 years in human resources spanning such industries as high tech, financial services, non-profit and education. Currently, she is the Director of Human Resources and Operations for the Rocklin Academy Family of Schools that has four top-ranked public Charter schools. Brigid has been very involved in the Greek community in Sacramento. She has an immense love for her adopted Greek culture.
Pagona is based in Arlington, Virginia and has over a decade of experience managing strategic projects in the nonprofit sector. She is a leader in the Pancretan Association of America and passionate about sharing and promoting modern Greek history and achievements with her community. Pagona studied Business Management at The American College of Greece, Deree College, and received her BA in Government from California State University, Sacramento.
Ann Sullivan has over twenty years of administrative experience with a variety of businesses. Ann is the Industry Outreach and Speakers Desk Coordinator for Visit California, the premier destination marketing organization for the state of California. Previously, she worked as lead office administrators for civil and environmental engineering firms in Sacramento. Ann has a degree in history from California State University Sacramento and a certificate in nonprofit management from California State University East Bay. She has a passion for museums as learning experiences beyond the classroom in order to broaden cultural and self-awareness.
Despina holds a BA in Hellenic Studies and an MA in Public History from California State University, Sacramento. She has spent 20+ years working in the non-profit sector organizing exhibitions, seminars, special events and programs throughout North America. Additionally, she spent more than a decade working with children teaching traditional Greek dance as well as organizing educational retreats, workshops and other various. Throughout her professional career, as well as personal life, she has been committed to the promotion and preservation of Hellenism.
Having an enthusiastic attitude for graphic design from a young age, Thanos decided to study what he loved most. Throughout 23 years of professional activity, he has worked for various publications, primarily newspapers and magazines. He gained valuable experience working both as a freelance graphic designer/DTP and as art director at newspaper companies. When he’s not at the office thinking of innovative ideas, he spends time in nature. Mountain biking in Parnitha and Tatoi or diving in the Ionian Sea lets him enjoy the gifts that Mother Nature has offered and admire the beautiful landscape surrounding Greece.
